I didn't know Steve outside of school, but we were both big history buffs and spent much of our senior year together in elective history classes. He was a neat kid to know and I am sorry that I won't get the chance to meet him again. I'm sure many people miss him.
Steve was a fine person and loving family man. In addition, he was a brilliant attorney. His legacy lives on through his family and the firm he founded.
I don't remember Steve, but my son dated his daughter for a while and she went on a cruise with us, so in a sense I feel connected to him. Funny how things come full circle. Neither Ellie or Jordan are from Evanston, but both their Dads graduated together.
