I did not know Steve very well, but I agree with Crawford that he really did have a caring side. That being said, we had an inappropriate nick-name for him..."Putt-Butt".
It kind of amazes me that there are not more comments on Steve. He was so outlandishly funny and wild that I would have thought he left more of an impression, in particular given the way that he genuinely cared for people while indulging in all his mischief.
