Margaret and I met Freshman year and became best friends immediately. She was a great person and amazing friend. Margaret became 'one of our family', went on family trips with us and we were inseperable.
We, unfortunately, lost touch senior year, college away vs. no college or local college. We saw eachother a few times after that but nothing stays the same. I'll always be grateful to Margaret for introducing me to John O'C, who has remained a good friend throughout all these years.
Margaret was in a printing class with me. I think it was senior year. I had some leftover paper and time so I made her some MG stationery (borrowing heavily from MG cars as you do at that age). She was absolutely rapt. Smiles all around.
There are moments you have in your childhood that remain with you. She gave me one of them. I never got to know her well. But I'm sure glad our paths crossed.
