Dearest friends -

With sorrow, relief, and joy we're writing to let you know Mom passed this afternoon at 5pm CST. It was without pain, surrounded by family and friends, and peaceful.

Thank you all for your support and love over this journey. We grieve that we cannot share it with mom any longer, but rejoice that her pain is gone and she is at peace.

Mom had extensive plans for her funeral [this should come as a surprise to no one :) ] and we will continue to keep you updated with that information. At least several weeks from now, perhaps early next year. Please refrain from flowers and gifts for now. Mom has designated memorials and we will provide information.

In your own way, send a prayer, positive thought, or a toast to mom's spirit this evening so she can begin her next journey riding a wave of love.
