I was very sad to see that LIz passed in 2011.  I recall her from back before high school the most. She was always very smart, sweet and kind.  I do not have many memories from high school of her but I do remember her coming to see me at my old Evanston office on Davis for some type of consultation back in the mid 80s.  I truly cannot recall what it was about but it was shortly after I started my practice when I was doing everything and anything. Whatever it was it was not significant but I do recall catching up with her and I do recall one significant snippet.  I remember that she told me she had studied Cartography and became a Cartographer. I remember this because  at that time I had no idea what she was talking about.  She of course explained what a Cartographer was and I was fascinated. For those that have yet to google the term -- a Cartographer is essentailly a mapmaker.   Over the past 30 or so years,  I have acquired many globes most of which are housed in my office. I also am very curious about and interested in old maps but I have not started to collect them yet. Who knows maybe my interest in globes etc. was becaue of that meeting with Liz back in the 80s.... or maybe I just dreamed this 1980s encounter.  I have noticed that my memory is far from perfect. Still, I am sad she will not be at the reunion.... I would have liked to tell Liz about my collection.

I remember having nice conversations with Liz in the Resource Center (what was that place called on the second floor - sort of like a mini - library?)  She was always very nice and friendly, and recall her always smiling.  Sad to hear she is gone, but hope she continued to touch lives as warmly throughout her life, and that she received very much the same.
