Connie Faye Womack-Bradley, a longtime resident of Evanston, died Nov. 26 at her home. She was 49.

Born Nov. 10, 1955, in Magee, Miss., she attended Evanston public schools, and completed classes at Oakton Community College in Des Plaines and Northwestern University.

Ms. Womack-Bradley was employed by the General Motors Corp. for 28 years.

She enjoyed making crafts for holidays, weddings and special occasions, and this interest led her to start a craft/decorating business called "Something Unique."

According to relatives, Ms. Womack-Bradley was a devoted and loving mother, daughter and sister who always put family first. They said she will be remembered for her strong faith in God, her unconditional love and her beautiful smile.

She was a member of Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in Evanston.

Ms. Womack-Bradley was preceded by her father, Jyles W. Womack Sr.   Survivors include daughter Dominique N. Bradley; her mother, Edna I. Bradley; her grandfather, William E. Scott; brothers Donald A. Womack and Jyles W. (Lynn) Womack Jr.; one niece; one nephew; and many other relatives.
