Liz was a friend I would always look up to growing up. She lived around the corner from me on Central Park. We just recently rekindled our childhood friendship in the  past few years. She was a great  mom to two wonderful boys ,terrific tennis player, and had many many friends. . She fought her disease with a positive attitude every day. I will miss her.

What a sweet, smart and wonderful person. Liz, we never had that dinner we always talked about and I will regret that always.

I was wondering why Liz hadn't written anything on Claire Grossman's memorial site, as they were so close growing up. Saw Liz at the last reunion. So sorry to hear she also died of cancer.

Just so sad to receive this information while I was away.  I know her service was yesterday.  She was a wonderful person and I am honored to say I knew you in high school and had just recently reconnected.  I had no idea Liz was ill and so sad at her passing.  Peace and happy memories <3

Such sad news. I often saw Liz in and around Wilmette as her sons made their way through the school system during the same years as my own kids. She was always energetic and involved and full of purpose. I will miss nodding hello as our paths crossed.
