I am very sorry to learn of Lea's passing.  She was in my 7 and 8th grade classes and we had lots of laughs.  I remember her as very smart, concerned about big questions, and shy.  The last time I ran into her was in a jazz dance class at Gus Giordano's, maybe 1976.

I like Rob was in classes with lea in 7th and 8th grade.. I am heartbroken to hear of her passing.. does anyone have any details?? I last saw lea at our 20th reunion where we spent time and shared the impact we each had on one another during our junior high years!! I am S0 happy to have that memory to hold onto!! She was lovely.. my condolences to her loved ones

The memorial time spent in the reunion for me was extremely emotional. The names were being shown on the screen one after another, and this went on for 10 minutes. Just goes to show how grateful we should all be that GOD allows us to remain in this world. Thank you to the organizers for this moment.

Georgia Karrass, one that passed, I had the biggest crush on her in Junior High School. We were very close. Georgia was the most beautiful girl in the school. Stephanie Hacker was another gorgeous close friend of mine. We attended Sunbday School together, and did the Aconomowak trips. I only learned of Stephanies' passing during the reunion. So sad.

The name, Lea Ames, sounds familiar.  It's always difficult to hear about a former classmate's passing.
