She came to Lincolnwood in 5th grade, among the first group of black kids to be bused to N Evanston. We were in Mrs. Lee's class, along with Chris O'Riley, Ron Davis, and Pete Tilden. It was a great class. Desira was shy and friendly, I got to know her pretty well. I am sorry she is no longer with us. Anyone know what happened to her?
